Pack List for Webelos Adventure Camp

Required Items:

* Please pack the following in a duffel bag or back pack

sleeping bag
pillow and extra blanket or bed sheet
rain poncho or rain jacket- preferably with hood
clothes for 4 days- pants, shirts, socks, underwear etc.
3 extra pair of socks in day pack
lightweight jacket or sweater incase of cool weather
Webelos uniform - will be worn at dinner every evening
Webelos handbook
Sneakers/tennis shoes
Water shoes (they are required to wear shoes in canoe / catamarans)
boots - especially helpful if muddy.
toiletries (tooth brush and paste, soap and wash cloth, brush or comb, face towel)
extra toilet paper
towel for swimming - small bath towel
swim trunks - worn to camp
personal first aid kit
flashlight with extra batteries
sleeping pad or air matt- single size only - optional
insect repellent- non aerosol
sunscreen - water proof
water bottle- preferably 2- no larger than 32 oz size (unfilled)
small note book, 2 pencils- place in zip lock bag
2 small trash bags for dirty and wet clothing
rope to rig clothing line- thin nylon rope, approx. 12 ft in length
games: deck of cards, UNO, checkers, chess- no electronics at all! - optional
small day pack for daily use
non-perishable snacks if desired (please do not bring a carload!)
small camp chair

Everything your scout takes to camp BETTER have his name or initials on it, or in it.

The scout will need to wear his bathing suite to camp. They will take a swim test after they drop off their gear at the camp site.

All snacks will need to be readily accessible by the scouts to give to the leaders. NO FOOD IN TENTS. Raccoons at Camp K can work zippers on backpacks.

The third evening of camp is family night. You will need to pay for dinner when you drop off your scout as tickets need to be purchased early. After the family dinner, the scouts will have a firecrafter hike. If you wish to walk with your scout, you will most likely want to wear comfortable shoes. Following the hike will be the campfire. Your scout will participate in the camp fire. Parents should plan on a late evening and may consider an umbrella or poncho in case of rain.

On the fourth day please pick up your scout at 9:30 am.
