Warm Weather Pack - Cub Scouts

The following is only a guide. Your list may or may not need to be adapted due to weather conditions, and what type of camping you will be doing. Adjust your equipment as needed keeping in mind that you want to keep your weight and bulk to a minimum. Check mark items as packed.

Duffel bag (static camping), OR backpack if you have one
Daypack to use in short hiking
Sleeping bag- in stuff sack, summer weight bag, fleece bag (light weight) will work
Personal ground cloth, small piece of drop cloth, etc.
Sleeping pad
Pillow (optional) - small
Scout book in cover
First aid kit
Flash light with batteries and extra bulb if you have one
High SPF sunscreen with Chap stick
Insect repellent, roll on or spray is preferred
Two 16oz. OR two 32oz. water bottles
Rain gear, poncho, preferred with a hood
Small note book with pencil, optional
Ball cap (bandana and Neck Buddy are optional but recommended)
Ample extra clothing depending on length of outing- zip lock bag clothing if needed
T-shirts & under wear
Trousers & shorts
Minimum: 2pair of extra socks per day- zip lock bag socks
Class "A" Scout shirt, belt, hat
Class "B" t-shirt, this is the Pack 207 official t-shirt
Two 30-gal. trash bags
Toilet kit (in bag of some sort) including: (use your refillable containers where needed)
Tooth paste and tooth brush
Soap-small bar in soap dish
Shampoo (refillable container)
Mouth wash (refillable container)
Wash cloth and towel
Comb or hair brush
Toilet paper in zip lock baggie, one roll
Waterproof leather hiking boots (already broke in if NEW)
Extra pair of comfort shoes- (sneakers or walking shoes, etc.)
One pair of shower shoes (flip-flops) for showering if needed.
Deck of cards, UNO game, Chess, Checkers, this is optional

It is vital that each scout be aware of impending weather for the outing/activity. Adjust list as needed according to weather in lieu of conditions. Initial all of your personal gear. No electronics will be allowed. Adult leaders need to adjust gear list as needed
